Underwriting Authority is also set at the Processor level when adding new users to the AMS. A user's Underwriting Authority cannot exceed that of its parent.
The Product Authorization Defaults page provides a place for you to set the default new business effective date and, if authorized, the default underwriting authority for the current Sub-Producing Organization or Licensed Producer.
To set new business defaults:
Enter the default New Business Effective Date.
For a Sub-Producing Organizations or Licensed Producers authorized for Property products, select the default underwriting authority. Property underwriting authorities include:

The Product Authorization Summary page opens. For a Sub-Producing Organization setup, all Processors added to the organization inherit the selected underwriting authority for Property products.
