Agency Info

The Agency Info page provides a place for you to confirm the information that is autofilled on the screen or to select new Agency and Sub-Producer codes, as well as the Company value.

Your security profile determines the default Agency and Sub-Producer codes, and Company values in the lists.

To change the Agency Info:

  1. Select the correct values from the lists.

  2. Click Next.

If Next is clicked, the result is one of three possibilities:

A) The Location Definition page opens if you are required to select a specific location within a split rating territory.

B) The Available Programs page opens if you do not need to select a location definition and there are more than one insurance programs from which to choose.

C) If none of the above conditions exist, the Coverages page opens.

If the Location Zip indicates a restricted area, the Do Not Bind - Do Not Submit underwriting message displays.

If temporary restrictions are in place, for example when there is a threat of severe weather, a system message provides notification. You can continue to quote but cannot bind coverage or submit for policy issuance at this time.

When a catastrophe is either expected or occurring in a certain areas, our Partners should use one of the following methods to check for any binding restrictions on our Personal Lines Products:

1.  Click Current Binding Restrictions on the modernLINK® home page. This opens a new browser window and shows any binding restrictions that are in effect.

2.  Call our 24-hour Severe Weather Hot Line.  Agency Channel - 1-888-593-3032,  POS Channel 1-888-593-3165. The recording is updated as soon as restrictions are in place, and updated again as soon as they are lifted.
