Watercraft: Cabin Cruisers

Cabin cruisers are distinguished by having a cabin that provides at least minimal shelter. There are a wide variety of boats that can be referred to as cabin cruisers, with several types sharing many of the same characteristics.

Most cruisers are powered by single or twin inboard or inboard/outboard engines, fueled by diesel or gasoline. Cruisers range in size from 26 to 40 feet in length. When over 30 feet in length, a cabin cruiser could be known as a motor yacht.
