Additional Interested Parties

The Additional Interested Parties page provides a place for you to add a lienholder, premium finance company, or additional insured to the quote/policy. It is possible to associate different units with different AIPs.

To edit a saved quote not yet in edit mode, first click Edit in the common action tool bar.

To add an Additional Interested Party:

1. Select to indicate if the AIP is a company or individual.

The page refreshes with fields for either a person or company.

2. Select the type of AIP.

The page refreshes with fields based upon the AIP type.

3. Enter the AIP basic information - company or person name, etc.

4. In the Select column, select the checkbox(-es) of the unit(s) that should be attached to the AIP.

5. Click Next.

modernLINK searches for preexisting Client Information modernLINK defines all businesses and individuals with which it conducts business in the Client Subsystem. An applicant, insured, Contract Holder, Sub-Producing Organization, Licensed Producer or Processor are all considered clients. Client information includes details such as business or home mailing addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. .

6. If there is a matching person or company listed, click Select to copy the related information into the AIP details form. If there is no match, enter the details for AIP.

If a match is selected, the Coverages page opens.

7. If no match is selected, click Next.

The quote is saved and the Coverages page opens.

8. For a quote, follow the steps to select coverages. For an endorsement, either continue with the next change or issue the endorsement.
