modernLINK Home Page

The modernLINK home page provides access to all modernLINK services and makes it easy to start a quote.

If you receive errors when quoting, ensure you have selected a valid Agent and, if required, Subproducer number. If you a re not certain of the number(s), click Select to choose the number(s) from a list.
You must be authorized in modernLINK's Agency Management System to quote a particular product. To request authorization, contact your Profile Administrator A Profile Administrator is a Processor (user) added to the Agency Management System that has the authority to add/modify users and producers to modernLINK. If you do not know who your Profile Administrator is, contact System Support at 1-866-527-9583. .
A quote requires a valid combination of Agent and Subproducer Numbers, effective date, zip code and product.
For Subproducer numbers beginning with alphabetic characters, the character must be in upper case.

Click:

• Payment Center to make a payment on a policy, e-mail or reconcile receipts.

• Training Center to view online, self-paced modernLINK and product training or to register for an instructor-led class.

• Marketing Center to download templates, logos, etc.

• Entries in My News or Tips or Tricks to view updates such as Binding Restrictions, modernLINK updates and FAQs.

Click tabs to select additional services:

• Quotes and Policies: Search for quotes or policies.

• Agency Management: Add/modify Processors (users), Licensed Producers or Sub-Producing Organizations (requires Profile Administrator authority).

• eForms: Search for and print forms, such as endorsements, brochures, state applications, etc.

• Tools: View diaries.

• Reports: View and generate reports.

To start a new quote from the home page:

1. On the home page, in the New Quote section, enter an Agent # or click Select to either prime the field with your Agent Number or, if you write with more than one Agent Number, choose from a list.

2. Enter a Subproducer number if required or click Select to either prime the field with your Subproducer Number or, if you write with more than one Subproducer Number, choose from a list. (If you are a business entity working through the Agent listed in the Agent # field, you are a Subproducer within modernLINK.)

3. Enter the preliminary info:  Effective Date and Rating Zip (Rating State is autofilled based upon zip code).

4. Select the product you wish to quote.

5. Click Get A Quote!

The first quote page opens (Basic or Location Information, depending upon the product).

6. Follow the steps to complete the quote information (see New Business in help topics for individual product topics).
