MVR Summary

The MVR Batch Summary page shows two sets of driving record information. One set, labeled Information Provided by Applicant, is based upon the information you entered as Accident/Violation Information in modernLINK. The other set, labeled Information Provided by Third-Party, is provided by the MVR report vendor. All operators entered into the quote for whom a Batch MVR was received are shown on the page.

Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) contain state driving record information on an individual for a period of time, usually 3 to 7 years, depending on state laws. modernLINK® displays all MVR records but only the last three year's worth of information is applied to the risk. The MVR ensures that driving record is taken into consideration when appropriate.

Batch MVRs exist only for quotes that have been processed and bound. The data returned in the Batch MVR must be manually entered into the online system ("blue screen").

In the event the Batch MVR indicates an unacceptable driving record (see rating guide), the policy must be cancelled in the blue screen system.
